Established in the year 1977 as a specialist sub-contracting company for prestressing applications, we have successfully diversified our activities to include Design & Construction Engineering, Geotechnical Services, Remedial Engineering, Stay Cable applications and Bridge Bearings. We provide services to various sectors of engineering including bridges, buildings, towers, marine installations, nuclear structures, storage tanks, ground engineering, remedial engineering and have established ourselves as a leading organization in the country.
Our offices and work sites are spread across the country. State of art production and testing facilities has been established in our factory located at Bangalore. A centralized design and engineering department operating from our Head Office in Bangalore is the back bone of design and process engineering. We provide complete range of Prestressing Systems and Construction Engineering Techniques for various circular structures such as Silos, LNG Tanks and Nuclear Containment Structures etc.
Liquid retaining structures, such as circular pipes, tanks and pressure vessels are also admirably suited for circular prestressing. The circumferential hoop compression induced in concrete by prestressing counterbalances the hoop tension developed due to the internal fluid pressure. A reinforced concrete pressure pipe requires a large amount of reinforcement to ensure low-tensile stresses resulting in a crack-free structure. However, circular prestressing eliminates cracks and provides for an economical use of materials. In addition, prestressing safeguards against shrinkage cracks in liquid retaining structures. Circular prestressing is also applied in domes and shells.

Deterioration of concrete structures has a challenging impact on safety of any concrete structure. Early identification and rectification of structural and aesthetic defects are paramount factors in ensuring the continued serviceability of structures and maintenance of asset values. Strengthening is often a needed compliment to overcome an unsatisfactory deficiency in an existing building structure or where a new code requires the structure to be modified to meet upgraded or changed requirements & conditions.
Of course the second half of Remedial Engineering is determining the optimal solution. We approach system improvements from the operator's perspective, focusing on practicality, cost effectiveness, reliability, possibility of continued operations and maintainability as well as timely implementation with minimum disruption. On existing facilities, we concentrate on optimizing and utilizing the existing systems as opposed to the "rip it out and start over" assessments, an approach that is common in the industry.
This regularly includes the evaluation of existing structures and the investigation and design of remedial measures for structures experiencing distress, and sometimes for enhancing load carrying capacity. Causes of distress may range from foundation failure and subsidence to earthquake damage, fire, general structural deficiencies, corrosion and material deterioration associated with ageing.

We specialize in the stabilization of deep excavation. We are one of the leading provider of complete solutions for earth stabilization projects of every description, from protection of deep soil excavated walls for multiple basements to erosion control and surface stabilization solutions.
Deep excavations are becoming increasingly common for the construction of road tunnels, mass rapid transit systems and other facilities at densely built-up areas within the city and suburban areas. Such works would affect nearby structures and its foundations due to ground movement. The sequence of construction of permanent retaining structures to retain the deep excavation is always bottom to top. The excavation sequence is always typically top down. Hence there is a need for design and execution of effective systems for retention of deep excavations.

POT-PTFE Bearing is an efficient and economic substitute to conventional metallic bearing and offers a number of advantages such as minimum maintenance, weather resistance, reduced height, compact size, lesser weight, easy handling, high load carrying capacity and easier installation. PTFE has an exceptionally low coefficient of friction and high self-lubricating characteristics, resistance to attack by almost any chemical, and an ability to operate under a wide temperature range.
Our POT/PTFE Bearings are extensively used in wide range of civil structures and are performing flawlessly in a variety of rigorous structural applications for many years.
Our bearings are designed and manufactured in accordance with IRC recommendations and specific technical requirements of the consultants. With in-house design engineering, production and testing facilities, we can provide well designed fully assembled bridge bearings as per specifications. We are approved and empanelled by MORTH and RDSO. Every component is manufactured, moulded, mechanically worked and assembled in our factory under strict ISO 9001:2008 certified quality checks and standards.
